  5. QUESTION:
I really want to loose weight?
Hi! i am 14 years old (female) 5 3- 5 4 and i weigh around 109-114 pounds. I REALLY want to loose weight but i dont know how. I feel and look fat and i just hate myself sometimes because i dont know what happend to me and how i let myself get this way. I want to be really skinny very fast....if anyone can give me any advice or tips i would greatly appreciate it!

    • ANSWER:
      Haii.
I had a eating disorder. I have recoverd from anorexia.. When my weight went up, and my body started to store body fat, i learned how to eat healthy and get rid of that stomach/thigh fat :)
i also learned some HEALTHY ways of losing weight.

      1) Eat three meals a day, Try cut out carbs. For breakfast say have a homemade fruit smoothie. Such as Banana's and milk, Or Frozen berry mix with some plain yogurt. For lunch have a wrap with salads, try not to have salad dressing. And have a stable dinner, with red meat, and veges. Theres lots of recipies if you looking around.

      2) When you drink water, drink cold water with ice, This speeds up your metabolism.
You can also have a quick 2-5 min cold shower in the morning (NO LONGER!) This is an extra kik start to your day, physically and mentally. I dont like to do this too often, because i hate the cold.

      3) If you have a dog, take it for a walk every day. Or just simply go for a walk everyday, walk a certain distance and walk a little bit longer the next day, walk at least 4 tmes a week, but try for everyday. Remember, Sweat = burning calories/fat, But DO NOT ever over work your self, you could send your body into shock, and at risk of a heart attack. (Trust me, i know.)

Try not to eat to much, Do this to help your self if you really want a snack, every week after you weigh yourself, if you lost a decent amount of weight treat your self to a chocolate bar, it wont undo much. But try not to give into cravings, if you want chocolate, drink a glass of cold milk. Etc etc.

For extra help, see a doctor once a month, so they can tell you how well your doing or unwell, such as not losing too much at a time, or getting too thin.

My method works by balancing your diet so you naturally lose weight.
It may take a while, But it means your get a beautiful body in the end :)
And also, it makes you feel good about losing weight rather than depressed such as many other diets do to you. But this is hardly a diet.

      Hope i helped.
      Ratlove
      <":3)~~~
EDIT* By slow i ment that its not fast, But you start to see results in the first week. but for your age, and how your growing, It should work even faster, and it wont cause any stress or damage to your growing, especially at your age with puberty etc, it could really screw things up if you lost weight the wrong way, so please be careful. ... I was going to say something else... But i just forgot it... Sorry. ... Anyways.. ill move on.
The trick is to stay on focus, Are you able to do horse riding or something? Swimming? Rock climbing? Any of those things are GREAT for making you fit and healthy. Again DO NOT OVER DO exercise, but still push your self, you will be suprised about how much you can do that you couldnt in two weeks !
      keep hydrated too :) .
I remembers what i was going to say, REMEMBER that muscle is heavier than fat, so if you start of losing weight, and then that slows its because your gaining muscle.
