  2. Is there any cream that can reduce a double chin ?
    I am at a normal body weight but I have a double chin.

    I think it could be genetics.

    Is there any cream that can reduce a double chin ?

    • Actually, some cellulite creams/gels also tighten skin under the chin. Might want to try one to see if it helps. Another home remedy is to use ice packs to tighten and lift the skin…fill a plastic bag with ice cubes, hold on your chin for up to 30 minutes. Might want to rotate with heat packs to stimulate circulation.

      Many people who have hereditary double chins report EXCELLENT results from massaging the chin for 10 minutes each night with castor oil (less than $4 at Walmart). You do need to allow time for it to absorb into your skin before you go to bed or put a towel on your pillow.

  7. get rid of my stretch marks?
    ok im 14 yearls old. and over the summer instead over being normal and going to camp or anything.i made the mistake of staying home the whole summer and pigging out!!!! so now i have TERRIBLE stretch marks. and i know that the natural way of getting rid of them is to excersise, but i just started highschool and am in the pre-ib program so i dont really have extra time for excerise after i finish the mounds of homework i have everynight. so i was wondering if anyone knows of a sure-fire way to get rif of them in about 5 months? my mom said she’s willing to condisider those creams. but wat about that bubla powder (i dont know if thats the right name for it). you drink it and it gets rid of cellulite and stretch marks

    • * Skin Creams and Lotions – Lotions containing cocoa butter are rumored to not only help reduce stretch marks, but to help prevent them entirely. Any cream or oil that is made specifically for the prevention or treatment of stretch marks will help keep your skin healthy and elastic.

      * Vitamin A, E & C – Supplementing these vitamins may help increase the strength and elasticity of the collagen within your skin and reducing your chance of forming stretch marks.

      * Stay hydrated.

      # Time – Stretch marks, like all types of scarring fade over time.

      # Retin-A (Tretinoin) – 0.1% Tretinoin creams have been shown to significantly reduce the appearance of stretch marks. These creams work best when used on fresh stretch marks.

      # Exfoliate daily – use a loofah or scrunchy to remove daily.

      # Stretch Mark Creams and Lotions – Using creams and lotions that heal and beautify your skin can reduce the appearance of stretch marks. The following ingredients are widely accepted as beneficial for this purpose:

      * Cocoa butter
      * Rose hip oil
      * Emu oil
      * Jojoba oil
      * Castor oil
      * Shea butter
      * Vitamin A, E & C

      # Vic’s Vapor Rub – Many people have reported success using Vic’s Vapor rub by applying it to a washcloth or paper towel and rubbing it forcefully into the scarred skin on a nightly basis for a few weeks.

      # Increase Circulation – by taking hot baths and massaging the areas regularly.

      # Tanning – Go sunbathing! Tanning can diminish and even eliminate minor stretch marks. Be sure to use sun screen.

      # Vitamin E Gel – Break open vitamin E capsules and rub the oil into the skin over the stretch marks daily for 2 weeks.

  10. Is castor oil safe for dieting?
    I got this off a blog:

    → You can do this: Every morning 1hr before breakfast take a spoonful of castor oil, a little piece or ginger (of the size of your fingernail, without shell) and a whole glass of water (THE THREE THINGS). Repeat this for 48 days. It is very important to wait one hour before eat anything and just do it in the morning during fast.

    Castor oil tastes bad and it’s gonna make you defecate a little watery. But it worth it, believe me. This is gonna help you to clean your colon, remove acne, cellulite and take out (naturally) everything you eat during the day. You’ll start see results in your weight one week after starting, and in your face (if you have acne) 15 days after starting.

    I was just wondering if this is legitimate. Even if it isn’t legitimate, is it safe? The owner of the blog mentions the benefits but before I do this (still not completely sure if I will) I want to know if it’s risky at all. I did some research but I’d also like to get a general opinion. Also, is it okay to do this along with a fiber supplement or should I just choose one or the other (I take a fiber supplement every morning.)

    • Although castor oil may be used for constipation, it is not a preferred treatment, because it can produce painful cramps, fecal incontinence and explosive diarrhea. Its action can go on for hours, sometimes unpredictably and powerfully causing an involuntary bowel movement at inconvenient locations and during sleep.

  11. What is the best home remedy for cellulite?
    I’m not too fond of store bought products as they tend to have a lot of crap I can’t pronounce. Any suggestions?
